Tipperary Rural Traveller Project (TRTP) Family Support Team works with individual Traveller families to identify their own needs and to develop pathways to meet these needs and achieve their goals.
The service engages with families in relation to a wide range of issues including:
- Accommodation
- Poverty and social exclusion
- Mental and Physical Wellbeing
- Children in care
- Education
- Community Development
- Accessing mainstream services
- Court Supports
- Parenting Support
The service also works towards increasing Traveller families’ participation and access to mainstream services and opportunities.

How to access: Direct self referral to the service; referral by other agencies.
