Tipperary County Council

Tipperary County Council is the main instrument for local government in the county with responsibilities for rural and urban planning, economic and community development, social housing, and the development of public leisure facilities and amenities around the county.

Through the County Council Arts Programme, its Heritage programme, and the County Museum, children and young people, often through schools, can take part in a range of participatory activities to develop their interest in drama, art and different aspects of their local environment.

As a sub-structure of the County Council, Tipperary Sports Partnership has a role to coordinate, promote and develop recreational sport in the county

Further details on County Council service provision are to be found under specific entries in this web-site.
