iScoil project, Roscrea

The iScoil project, in partnership with Roscrea Area Youth (RAY) Garda Youth Diversion Project and the North Tipperary Development Company, provides a safe learning environment where young people can re-engage with education, achieve recognised QQI certification and access further education, training and employment opportunities.  The project consists of a blended learning centre, housed in the Roscrea Youth Service's premises in Roscrea, providing individual support by youth workers and tailored learning plans for early school leavers.

Target Group: Early School Leavers, aged 13 – 15 years, from the Roscrea area who have not completed Junior Cert.

Referral: Referral by Education Welfare Officer, the RAY Garda Youth Diversion Project and other professionals
