HSE Regional Suicide Resource Office in the South-East region provides a bereavement counselling service for persons aged 16 years and upwards who have been bereaved in any of the following circumstances:
- Suicide
- Homicide
- Road Traffic accident
- Industrial/ Agricultural/ Domestic accident
- Drowning
A minimum of 12 bereavement counselling sessions are offered and there is no cost to the person availing of the service.
Referral: Referral is through a GP or an appropriate health professional. Parental consent is required for those aged 16 to 18 years.
