Céim Eile is a Department of Education and Skills initiative, supported by European Social Fund, to provide second chance education for early school leavers. Its programme includes:
- Construction studies, Childcare, Horticulture, Hair & Beauty, Art, Crafts, ICT, Maths, Irish, French and Communications
- Leaving Cert Applied course
- QQI Levels 3 & 4 certification
- Work experience
- Counsellor and advocate on site
- Bus service for Roscrea & Thurles areas.
Eligibility: Young people aged 15 – 20 years who are not in Education, Employment or Training in the Nenagh, Roscrea, Thurles, Urlingford, Borrisoleigh and Templemore areas. Some courses may require a Junior Certificate or a Youthreach Foundation or equivalent. Open to all abilities.
