Through Special Olympics Sports, Health and Leadership programmes, athletes learn to be physically, mentally and emotionally fit. They get to learn new skills, increase confidence and most importantly they get to experience the joy of sport and make life-long friendships. Also key to its success is the passion, energy and support of the volunteers, clubs and Special Olympics partners.

Target Group: People with an intellectual disability from the age of 4 years and upwards.

Referral: Application to join by completing an Athlete Participation form. Medical clearance to participate in sports is also required.
