South Tipperary Autism Support Group offers support and advice to families and carers of children and young people on the autism spectrum. It is a parent-led charitable organization. Activities include:

  • Monthly meetings (first Tuesday of the month)
  • Leisure activities in August such as: horse riding, bowling, day trips, Boot Camp, a Field Day in the grounds of Clonmel Rugby Club
  • Events to celebrate World Autism Day (2nd April annually)
  • Parties for families at Halloween and the Christmas period, with food and musical entertainment provided.

All activities provide opportunities for parents, carers and families to come together in a fun safe non-judgemental environment. As all activities are subsidised by the group, costs are kept to a minimum for families.

Target Group: Children and young people with autism and their carers/families.
