Irish Men's Sheds Association
2nd Floor, Irish Farm Centre
A Men’s Shed is a dedicated, friendly and welcoming meeting place where men come together and undertake a variety of mutually agreed activities.
All Men’s Sheds are independent and self-autonomous, and the range of activities carried out by sheds can differ from one to the next. Most sheds engage in activities such as woodwork, gardening, carpentry and community work. However, there are more special interests sheds that focus on things like music, fishing and restoration work.
The Irish Men’s Sheds Association exists to support the development of Ireland’s network of over 450 men’s sheds. Established in 2011, the IMSA has overseen the rapid growth of men’s sheds in Ireland, which now enjoys the highest per-capita concentration of men’s sheds anywhere in the world.
Target Group: Men’s Sheds are open to all men regardless of age, background or ability. It is a place where you can share your skills and knowledge with others, learn new skills and develop your old skills.
