Jack and Jill Foundation

Jack and Jill Foundation provides advocacy, support and an in-home nursing service. It also offers support to families whose child is approaching end of life.

On foot of a referral, the service provides the expert advice of a Specialist Children’s Liaison Nurse (SCLN’s) who will advise, help and advocate for the family.  The role of the SCLN includes listening to parents and seeking solutions which can include making representations to other health care professionals and the government. The aim of the service is to reduce some of the worries/difficulties which come with caring for a child with additional needs while also allowing families have some time out.

Target Group: Children under the age of five years who have a significant neurodevelopmental delay involving severe learning difficulties; children in the same age group with terminal conditions, regardless of diagnosis.
