Girls Friendly Society (GFS) is a volunteer-led organisation which aims to promote friendship among girls and young women and to foster personal development in a Christian context. Through its local clubs, its education programme encourages members to achieve their best in a variety of areas including Arts & Crafts, Environmental Awareness, Outdoor Pursuits, IT, Public Speaking and Bible Study. The local clubs are run under the auspices of the Church of Ireland. There are clubs in Cloughjordan, Nenagh and Roscrea.
Target Group: Girls from aged 3 years upwards of any denomination or none.
