Roscrea Youth Service (North Tipperary Development Company)

Roscrea Youth Service aims to support young people to fulfil their optimum potential through both one to one work and through the development of needs based programmes in school and community settings.

The Roscrea Youth Service run different young women and men’s groups within the community covering a variety of workshops. Supports are provided to young people moving on to college in relation to SUSI advice and Steppingstone courses available. There is also a LGBTQI support group called Purple Hearts which meets weekly (see link below). The youth service also organizes summer programs.

The service also offers a drop in facility for young people who want a hangout space, free Wi-Fi, and a friendly listening ear when needed.
