Cahir Community Youth Project provides support to young people and their families, in particular targeting those that may be disadvantaged due to social issues, substance misuse and those at risk of early school leaving. The project is run by Waterford & South Tipperary Community Youth Service.
The project offers group work and one to one support around a variety of issues including, sexual health, healthy relationships, preparation for work, mental health and wellbeing.
Target Group: Young people, aged 10 – 24 years, from the Cahir area
How to access: Referrals can be made by statutory, community and voluntary agencies, including schools, or by parents/guardians and young people themselves.
Geographic remit: Cahir area.
Monday – Friday, 12.00 – 10.00 p.m., Occasional Saturday, 12.00 – 10.00 p.m.
