Barnardos Family Welfare Conference Project

Barnardos Family Welfare Conference (FWC) Project provides a service to support families by arranging a meeting (Family Welfare Conference) for family members to come together when there is a concern for a child or young person.

The meeting is family led and its purpose is for the family to talk and make a plan to sort out the concern. The families in receipt of this service are supported by the FWC Co-ordinators from the preparatory stage to the conclusion of the meetings. The active participation of the child or young person in the Family Welfare Conference is encouraged and supported.

Eligibility: Families in the South of the county

Referrals: Referrals from Túsla.
