TENI (Transgender Equality Network Ireland) works to support the Transgender population around the country and to raise awareness about Transgender issues.

The agency delivers training and awareness programmes to community groups, schools and agency staff.

TENI’s Family Support and Education Officer in the South of the country visits schools to present to school staff, to link with Pastoral Care staff and Guidance teachers and to meet with individual families and young people, if required, in the school setting to give advice.
