The project aims to help young people move away from behaving in a way that might get them or their friends into trouble.

It seeks to help young people develop their sense of community and their social skills through different activities. The project offers opportunities for education, employment, training, sport, art, music and other activities. It seeks to encourage a better quality of life for everyone in the community and to support good relations between the Gardaí and the community.

All parents of the young people engaging with the project can avail of family support. This is a person-centred approach and delivers targeted supports, identified by parents in conjunction with the family support worker. The family support worker is available by telephone and face to face support. A sibling group for 10-12 year olds is also available.

Target group: Young people at risk of engagement in or of continued engagement in anti-social / criminal behaviours

Referral: A standard referral form is available. Referrals by Juvenile Liaison Officers (JLOs), Gardaí, Schools, Túsla, parents, community members, other agencies, self / peer referrals.
